Had enough flames before I got the timing right. I'm not especially fond of flames, especially coming out of the carb.

Any predictions on times with the new "Beast", or what are you hoping for?

It's set up to break into the 9's. Cool air, good track, it might. But then i need to apply for my competition license. No added power to speak of this year, but I believe another 200+ lbs of weight was reduced. I'll weigh it if I get a chance.

The one thing that could hinder the 9's is the spragless torque converter I now have. Some believe that they cost you a couple of MPH and tenths. I'll just have to see.

There is a long saga of trials and tribulations that I went through finishing the car. It was ready to be done a month ago, but I had what turned out to be a bad torque converter.

I will tweet my runs to my blog: www.soulfisher.net. Or follow me on twitter: soulfisher.
